Historian and author Joseph E.A Connell Jnr who has written several books on the Decade of Centenaries period – “Dublin Rising 1916”, “Who’s Who in the Dublin Rising 1916”, “Michael Collins, Dublin 1916-1923” and “The Shadow War” will give a talk on Michael Collins and his role in the War of Independence in the Local Studies Library on Monday 11th July at 2pm.
